Dr. Jennifer Deyo (pronounced Day-Oh), a Worth native, joined Mill Creek Animal Clinic in 2007.
She began working in the veterinary field as a teenager at Crestwood Animal Hospital, first as an assistant, and then later as a technician. It was here that she developed her love for Veterinary Medicine. Although her initial direction in college was toward the family business of teaching, she eventually realized that she belonged with the animals and headed toward the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!) for Veterinary School.
After Veterinary school, she joined Lincolnway Animal Hospital, and now with us. We are very excited to have her. A large part of practicing medicine is communication, i.e. teaching the humans that bring our patients to us. Dr. Deyo’s teaching background has prepared her for this very important part of medicine. Combined with her genuine compassion for animals AND people, Dr. Deyo is a great addition to Mill Creek Animal Clinic.
Dr. Deyo comes from a big family which she enjoys spending time with as well as her furry family : Gabriel (rott/boxer mix), Cooper (French Bulldog), Ziva (rottweiler), Zacheus (DLH), and Pixie (DSH).
When she isn’t tied up with this gang, she enjoys reading, hiking and playing piano.
